Walworth County Looking to Add Another City Service

The proposed Children's Advocacy Center will add a beneficial 'big-city' service to an otherwise small town feel area

Walworth County may have a small town feel, but they are
looking to include some big-city services—one of which will be a Children’s
Advocacy Center.
 Teaming up to build a
Children’s Advocacy Center are officials from the district attorney’s office, law
enforcement and health and human services departments, the Association for the
Prevention of Family Violence, and the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The center’s main purpose will be to give a
place for children who have suffered neglect or abuse in any way so that they can
have hope of recovery.

This ‘big-city’ service will allow Walworth County to
continue its trend in keeping up to date on what is needed in the County; if
all goes as plans the facility should be up and running in a few years. For more information on this Center visit
