New Facilities May be Constructed Near Library Park
The city council will decide on the new restroom and storage facility plans soon, making it easier to spend time on the West End Pier dock
The City Council may be making some changes in Lake Geneva
to improve the facilities available in the city. The Public Facilities Committee is urging the
city to build new restrooms and a storage building on the west end of Library
Park, and if the plans are approved it could be constructed as soon as by the
end of this year.
Next Monday, March 10th, the city council will
discuss the preliminary design and location for the new facilities. The building is projected to be a 19 X 38
foot building and is suggested to be on the west end of Library Park near the
walkway; at this location it would not be blocking the view of the Lake and
would be near the West End Pier dock for convenient use by boaters and
pedestrians.
