Delavan’s Congdon pond is Stocked, Summer Fishing is Here

If you love fishing and lake activities, than Lake Geneva Wisconsin is the place to be this spring and summer

Delavan’s Congdon Park pond is now stocked with 3,000
rainbow trout in anticipation of the fishing season.  As part of Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources (DNR) Urban Fishing Waters program, the Delavan pond qualifies for
special attention. The special
regulations on urban waters include a year-round season, no length limits, and
a special season for juveniles (15 years of age or younger) and certain disabled
individuals under the age of 65.

To promote fishing opportunities, Delavan Parks and
Recreation Department will be co-sponsoring several fishing events. The first one will be April 26th
from noon to 4 p.m. entitled “Optimists Fishing Derby” and the second event
will be “Take Mom Fishing” and “4-H Fishing Derby” on June 7th which
will allow Moms to fish without a license as well as have plenty of contests.

If you love fishing and other lake activities, don’t miss
out on a great summer in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.
