Delavan WI’s Proposed Covered Bridges Subdivision Plans Changed

If you were wondering what became of the Walworth County Wisconsin proposed Covered Bridges subdivision project, these plans are still in progress, though they have been revised a little. Robert Clemen, the developer for this originally 202 unit development in Delavan Wisconsin, received approval from the town’s Plan Commission on plans to cut this amount in half; the new plan will include only 76 units, with 30 of these being single family homes. The development will be in the northern half of the property which was not zoned as farmland, while the southern half is still being leased to a farmer.

Nevertheless, Robert Clemen’s new Covered Bridges subdivision plans will need to be recommended for approval by the Town Board, be accepted by the county, and received another approval from the Plan Commission for a conditional use permit. If permitted, this Delavan Wisconsin subdivision will feature a conservational approach, preserving the natural environment of the area and giving the community a rustic charm.
