Lake Geneva WI’s New Theatre Company to Perform this Weekend

Nearby Milwaukee and Chicago theater goers will now have another entertainment option in Lake Geneva Wisconsin to look forward to. The inside of Lake Geneva’s Horticultural Hall is prepped to look Shakespearean for the new theater company’s first performance on the Fourth of July weekend.

Laura DeMoon, the artistic director and president of the brand new Lake Geneva Theatre Company had a vision of offering live theater to the area; her vision included Lake Geneva WI as similar to Stratford Shakespearean Festival in Canada where tens of thousands of people from surrounding cities come for the theater. Their first performance will be the play “Private Lives” which will run through July and August. Check lakegenevatheatre.org for show dates, times, and ticket information and enjoy your Lake Geneva summer.
