Presentation of Historic Lake Geneva Hotel in Wisconsin
The last program of the “A Summer of Architecture 2008” series in Lake Geneva Wisconsin will be a presentation and examination into the life and works of Frank Lloyd Wright as it applies to the region. A closer look into Lake Geneva Wisconsin history reveals the Frank Lloyd Wright Lake Geneva Hotel that used to grace downtown Lake Geneva from 1912 to 1970. Frank Landi, the presenter of the program will trace the history of this beautiful Lake Geneva Hotel by reviewing news articles, vintage photos and postcards, and other personal items that reveal the majesty of this booming historic hotel in its glory days.
The presentation will be on August 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Geneva Public Library; more information on this and other programs can be found at lakegeneva.lib.wi.us.
