The attractive Walworth County Wisconsin region has drawn in tourists for its country, small town appeal, natural beauty, and glimmering lakes.  Even though this may not seem like the ideal time of year to visit the region, the holiday festivities are a common pull for visitors and residents looking for an enjoyable time in the Lake Geneva WI area.  

The annual farm tour took place last weekend along with the Garden Tour at Northwind Perennial Farm on the 8th, but more events are in store for the whole family to enjoy.  The Fall Harvest Festival will take place this weekend with wagon rides, games, and a pumpkin carving contest.  Also starting on October 10th is the Wisconsin Beer and Cheese Fest which will run until the 13th in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.   “It’s the Great Pumpkin” event will be on October 12th with fun activities, treats, and prizes for the whole family.  And not to be forgotten, the 17th annual Oktoberfest is scheduled for October 11 and 12 inviting residents and visitors alike to shop handmade wares, experience unique restaurant specials, enjoy rides, and shows.
