This isn’t a real impressive picture, unless you are a resident of the Country Club Estates property owners association in Fontana, WI, in which case you’ll be very happy.  This shows the Austin Pier Service’s barge and status of the association pier being installed as of April 9, 2009.  Every association around the lake wants to get their pier in as early as possible but this is actually quite early, considering there was still ice on the lake just a few weeks ago.  This will insure that the pier will be in and ready to go in plenty of time for the residents to enjoy the lakefront area by Memorial Day, which is the unofficial kickoff of the summer season.  The photo below shows what our beautiful association park looks like in the summer time.

Country Club Estates is located in Fontana, WI just up the hill overlooking the Abbey Resort and Abbey Harbor.  The association has very desirable lake access or lake rights to Lake Geneva with an association parking lot located conveniently across the street from the lake with a walkway underneath South Shore Dr. so traffic is never an issue, a private association pier, use of an ideal sand swimming beach owned by the Village of Fontana, a number of boat moorings available on a waiting listing basis and a wonderful 9 hole golf course with discounts available to property owners.
