If you are a homeowner in Linn Township Wisconsin, your neighborhood will be even more relaxing and tranquil with the new radar trailer in place. Those that speed down the Linn Township roads will be thinking twice about accelerating now that the Linn Police are taking complaints from residents’ seriously. In the past it was not possible for a police officer to be stationed in various places for the duration of an entire day to monitor the speed of motorists; now, with the help of the radar trailer system, police can monitor speed and other statistics such as the times of day people are maintaining higher speeds and the amount of traffic at any given time. With this data, Linn Township police can determine where problem areas and times arise, and thus post an officer in this area at a given time.

Linn Township Wisconsin police can also use data to determine where they can make adjustments to speed limits to reduce accidents and promote safety. So rest easy in your Linn Township neighborhood and enjoy the sites.

Linn Township May have New Post Office Facility

July 22nd, 2008 Bob Webster Posted in Linn Wisconsin real estate No Comments »

Linn Township in Wisconsin may be seeing a new post office facility in the future. Currently operating out of a trailer, town board members decided it time to look into constructing a new building; a special meeting was held and town board supervisor and committee chairman Greg Holden presented drawings for a possible building design within the Town Hall lot. The building was proposed in this plan to be 100-by-80 feet, and officials will now need to take the proposal to Highway Superintendent Jim Wolfgram to obtain estimates in cost and devise alternative plans to build on select sites.

Officials are concerned about keeping the post office running in the town as maintaining one is crucial for Linn Township to pursue incorporation as a village. In addition, a possible bill that would allow towns to achieve a similar status to a village without worrying about losing land to nearby cities or villages is also in the works.
