Sail Boat on Lake Geneva

Only one boat out there so far, that looks kind of lonely all by itself, but there will be many more in the next few days allowing the all power boat, pontoon boat and sail boater owners lots of fun and enjoyment on beautiful Lake Geneva this season.

I spent the afternoon yesterday showing Lake Geneva lakefront homes and vacant lots. There is a great selection right now of lakefronts on Lake Geneva and that part of the real estate market appears to be having a resurgence of interest and activity on the part of several serious Buyers.  One of the lots I was showing was this vacant building site in a beautiful area known as Loramoor on the south east shore of Lake Geneva.  It is over an acre in size, 110′ of level frontage and some beautiful views of the lake.

In case you’ve been wondering, it won’t be long before the ice is completely off Lake Geneva and that means Spring can’t be far away. The ice on the lake always begins to turn this very interesting deep blue color just before it melts away entirely. With the temperatures in the 50’s the last few days, I think there’s a good chance the lake will be open by this weekend. I had a very busy couple of days last weekend with lots of showings, I’m sure we’ll continue to see more and more activity as the weather improves. I have a strong feeling we are about to see some very good things happening in our real estate market.
