Newest Tourist Attraction in Lake Geneva, WI

Take a Cruise to Historic Black Point

If you are thinking of taking a tour of Lake Geneva,
Wisconsin, don’t forget to stop at Conrad Seipp’s place. Seipp was a Chicago beer magnate who built a
cottage that became known as Black Point. This summer home was constructed in 1888 in a Queen-Anne style, proudly
resting on eight acres near Geneva Lake. Although this cottage was in Seipp’s family for seven generations, his
great-grandson recently gave the house to the state of Wisconsin, making it a
historical tourist attraction.

This historic Lake Geneva Wisconsin estate will be open for
viewing starting on June 15th. Because the home does not have modern heating units within, it will close
for the winter months starting in October. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this formerly private estate,
containing 15 bedrooms and a four-story tower.

Adding to the experience of nostalgia, Black Point tours
will arrive by boat, replicating Seipp’s own journey to reach his summer
cottage. You will be touring in a group
of about 45 people starting at the Riviera Docks at 11am and then again at 1pm;
expect to return a few hours later at 2:45pm and 4:30pm, respectively. For information on the cost per person call
the Lake Geneva Cruise line at (800) 558-5911.

This will be a great opportunity to see historic Lake Geneva
at its finest.
