their education. With ever-increasing
security concerns on the national level at schools, the Reek and Woods school
districts are meeting the needs of concerned parents. The higher security measures include a ‘buzz
in’ policy for all adults that enter the schools (i.e. a check-in system to be
sure of the identity of individuals who enter the building), a lock down system
at the touch of a button, and improved awareness of what’s going on inside and
out through the potential addition of more video cameras.
