Next Mirbeau-Hummel Development Public Hearing to shed more Light on Making it a Reality

With the public having mixed views on new development in Lake Geneva WI, this next hearing may clear up concerns and economic benefits

The next Mirbeau-Hummel development public hearing scheduled
for 6p.m. November 27th will be held at the Badger High School
auditorium. The last hearing was October
30th and due to the unexpected number of people interested they had
to use closed circuit television to broadcast it into other rooms to
accommodate the crowd.

Just like the previous meeting, this hearing will allow a
select number of people to speak for or against the planned project by filling
out a card beforehand; the public will be allowed to voice their opinions at a
rate of 3 minutes per person for a two hour session.

The Mirbeau-Hummel development has meet with some opposition
from the beginning with plans to add more single family homes, and the Mirbeau
Retreat with a spa and additional restaurants and rooms.  The expected 882 new residential units are
proposed to add 771 more residents to the population in the next 15-20 years.  For more about the expected economic impact of
this development to the Lake Geneva WI area check out Lake Geneva Regional news
