Bloomfield WI may see a Small Tax Rate Increase

Bloomfield homeowners will not likely see a large tax rate increase for 2008

For homeowners in Bloomfield WI, the town tax rate may go up
slightly if it is finalized with the new 2008 budget. Earlier this month, the Bloomfield Town Board
accepted a 2008 budget plan and tax levy that could mean a tax rate of about
$2.49. Although the rate isn’t final
yet, it is not expected to be a very significant increase. Last year’s rate was only 2 cents less than
the predicted rate for this coming year and will likely not be much more than
that.
