Mirbeau-Hummel development plan for Lake Geneva Put on “Hold” for more Voter input

Lake Geneva WI residents will get another chance to voice their opinions on the development plan

Lake Geneva voters may receive one last chance to voice
their opinions about the Mirbeau-Hummel development in January of next
year. The City Council’s decision to go
to referendum instead of going ahead and starting the first reading of the
rezoning ordinance, has given worried voters another chance to speak about
their feelings regarding the vast development plan and its effects on the
community.

Although many of the concerns about this development have
been voiced by those that do not reside in the city of Lake Geneva, some
council members feel that they need to be clearer on what the community thinks
about these plans before proceeding forward with them.
