Town of Linn Nature Park 10-year Plan Begins
Town officials approved the 10-year plan for restoring the park and protecting its natural beauty
Linn Wisconsin’s only town park will be under construction
in a 10-year plan to restore and improve the 160-acre park. The Town of Linn Nature Park, located at the
corner of South Lake Shore Drive and Maple Ridge Road, gained approval from the
town board to move ahead on a plan to improve the park which includes restoring
wildlife habitats, preventing creek shoreline erosion, and the addition of new
playground equipment. Tallgrass
Restoration was brought in to manage the plan and they will focus on restoring
the natural conditions of the park.
Linn town officials hope that through this project they can
not only improve the natural splendor of the park, including protecting
grassland birds, but give residents a place to take their family to see Linn’s
rustic beauty at its finest.
