Geneva WI Educates Property Owners and Visitors on How to Go Green

Geneva WI plans on having an Earth Day celebration every year to promote awareness on 'green' living

With the need to “go green” increasing in all parts of the country, Geneva Wisconsin is no exception. In celebration of Earth Day on April 26th the Town Park Commission provided a fun way for adults and children to learn about how they can help care for the environment. Among the activities were educational booths, children’s activities, a country market, a variety show, and a lake cleanup. The Geneva Lake Conservancy also spoke about how property owners can receive tax breaks by “going green” in a number of ways.

Geneva Wisconsin is hoping to celebrate Earth Day in the same manner each year in order the increase awareness of the need to care for the environment which includes the beautiful Lakes that make this area of Wisconsin so attractive.
