New Construction in Glenwood Springs Lakefront Association on Lake Geneva

Here is a welcome site in the Glenwood Springs lake front association on Lake Geneva in Fontana.  We don’t see as much new construction going on these days as we did a few years ago. This is a great example of the importance of location and proximity to the lake when it comes to decisions to build or in this case rebuild a home. This parcel was purchased in 2010 for $175,000 and the small modest home on the lot was taken down, so that price essentially represents the value of the land. Sailboat Racing on Delavan Lake

I was showing lakefront property on Delavan Lake yesterday and my customers and I were enjoying watching the sailboat races that were going on Delavan Lake with some fairly significant wind conditions. I’m normally out in the kayak on Lake Geneva whenever I have any spare time but this time I’m in the Dells for real estate meetings for the next two days. I brought the kayak up here with me and had an opportunity to spend a couple hours on the Wisconsin River. There are some beautiful rock formations in this area. My kind of “Happy Hour”.
